International Decades, Years and Days

FYI, I posted a link to this entry on a list of blogs that mention the International Year of Languages.
UNESCO is the lead UN agency for IYL and it has a portal page with access to diverse information.
UNESCO also has a retrospective page on past International Mother Language Days. Unfortunately they tend to put up the new page for each year only a little while before Feb. 21.
